First off 8 fans is way too many for your computer.

If you went down to three fans (front intake, rear exhaust, and top exhaust) you would likely see no cooling difference at all and much less noise. All any computer needs is 3-4 fans MAX to stay perfectly cool. It is about air circulation, not blowing air all over. Sometimes less fans actually cool BETTER than an absurd amount of them.

That fan controller is CRAZY expensive. If you had only 6 or less fans to control there are MUCH cheaper solutions that will work the same.

While Lamptron makes the best fan controllers, you are better off with
A. Less fans like mentioned above and
B. a 4 Channel one with 2 on each channel being split, cheaper, less work, the uniformity in many cases will deliver better performance (example; 2 front intakes being controlled at same speed would be better than having one fast and one slow, you want to avoid that kind of choppiness)

Airflow should really be one directional, for the most part thats lower front ----> upper back exhaust

i did not think of that when I built this computer I have 9 fans installed in my computer. It still runs pretty cool.

What should I do about a fan controller? Should I remove a couple fans or keep them in?
