hey everybody.

Me and a few friends plan to LAN which is 4 -6 friends.

Could anyone eccomend to us a few low end LAN games since 1-2 of our friends have low end PCs.

We aldready tried a few games like Warcraft 3, Heroes of Newerth and one or two more.

we play low end LAN games only because one of our friends has a dell laptop with an i5 3rd gen integrated graphics we were planning to play Titanfall and battlefield but that seems out of the question for him.

Any reccomendations would be great!

It depends on what's in your friends pc, elaborate on the low end. I know Borderlands 1 runs on pretty low specs and you can pick up the game of the year in sales for very little

Friend one specs Dell laptop, intel core i5 3rd gen not sure wich model IG hd 4000 integrated, 4gb ram windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. 15 inch 1366x768, we tried running Borderlands 2 on it he gets about 30 fps using fraps and without using it he gets around 40 - 42 fps (very low settings).

Try borderlands 1 then, still an excellent game and a lot of fun in 4 player. If you want to record maybe try msi afterburner or dxtory, they will have less fps hit than fraps.

I'm amazed that nobody has suggested Team Fortress 2; fantastic for multiplayer, very light on system requirements and it's free! Add a few bots if you want to get the numbers up.

COD4 still supported local LAN play with a dedicated server. We had a lot of fun with that. Team Fortress 2 was fun. Back when we used to have LAN Parties we also played Far Cry, the first one as it allowed a local LAN server and the Assault game was super fun.

There are probably newer games, but with integrated graphics you will be limited.

Diablo 3 has just gone offline, maybe that supports lan now and is easily playable
