Is the Microsoft Wired Controller durable?

i'm on a tight budget and i'm looking for a gamepad for my pc. i can buy the microsoft one but i can't afford to buy one every year in case it gets damaged. so i want to know if the microsoft wired controller will last for at least two years.

also should i go for the Logitech F310? it is available for around $10 less than the microsoft one and i can afford to buy it every year.

i have had a few controllers before but they were rather cheap (around $10) and none of them lasted for more than 6 months.

the microsoft 360 wired controller is one of the most robust around. i only go through one of them maybe every 3 years, and that's with intensive use and not the greatest treatment (frequent dropping n such)

It's from the original makers, so it is very durable. I've also used it for about 5 years with the only bad thing being that my right thumbstick is sticky, and that WAS COMPLETELY MY FAULT.

I'd say the xbox 360 controller has been my favourite controller of all time, has also been the most durable one i've ever used

It's a great control pad. I've bought 2 black wired control pads and have had both for several years. They have both been dropped on concrete floors and still work. They are very durable pads.
