Bios And motherboard updates

Hey guys, have a Foxconn 2AA0 (AM3) Chipset. Seems as tho my bios was made by micro America inc or something. I tried going to the foxconn website for support and downloads for this. But, it seems both sites are telling me to go to eachother. Netiher has any for AM3 780G chipset.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

BIOS updates are supplied by the motherboard manufacturer if it's a custom-built system (ie not factory built).

For factory built computer (or any laptop) BIOS updates are supplied by the relevant PC/laptop manufacturer.

The actual BIOS manufacturer does not supply updates to end-users.

BIOS updates in any case should only be considered if you actually need an update to correct a problem, or if the update adds a new feature that you need. Otherwise leave it alone. Updates are not mandatory!
