I have a strange problem . I found on a friend store an old ASUS A6J and I have some problems:
First it starts but it was freeze after the entrance in xp even the touchpad did not move .After of 15 min of freeze the laptop restart and it was hot I mean really hot like fire.I take out the cpu and the fan clean it put a new thermal paste.
After that the asus makes me new problem now it continues not login at xp only in safe mode but even in safe mode after a 10 min it freeze the screen goes to a dark gray color, it is like close but it is not .
I was thinking that it is a xp problem so I login at Boot screen and wait . In 10 minutes the dark gray screen appear again .
I can login at safe mode for 15 or 10 min any idea
I am thinking to login with puppy from a CD to see if it will restart again but I do not really know if that will help.Any idea?
