Hello!

I just bought new computer, that has a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 DirectCU II, 3GB GDDR5 GPU.

New rig and the GPU works just fine and the games run smoothly, but for a some reason
I can´t enable DirectX 11 support in any games that I have.

Games for example Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Far Cry 3, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, and Tomb Raider all have DirectX 11 in their display options, but I cant choose it.

I have installed every Windows Update and DXDiag shows that I have DirectX 11 in operation, but the games won´t recognize it.

I´ve also installed Windows 7, Steam, uPlay and all games twice. And also tried every GeForece driver (with clean installation) that NVidia has on their website.

Games that I have been testing have kind of similar problems on their support topcis, but I haven´t still found any kind of solution. Even NVidia´s own support team told me to contact game developers, but the fact that at least 3 games for different developer has the same problem, tells me that the problem is somewhere else.

So does anybody here have encountered anything like this before?

Here is my system specs:

Xeon E3-1230V3, FCLGA1150, 3.3GHz, 8MB processor,
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 DirectCU II, 3GB GDDR5 GPU,
8GB Elite Series, DDR3 1600MHz system memory

Operating system is Windows 7 64 Bit.

Have the profiles of those games been added in the Nvidia control panel? Most of the times, when you install a game, its profile automatically gets activated, but occasionally, you have to do that manually.

that's because most games either run dx11 native or you need to go to their installed folder and specifically create a shortcut to the dx11 version of the .exe game file to start it in dx11.

farcry3 blood dragon for example has "fc3_blooddragon_d3d11.exe" in the "bin" folder
