Hello TH community,
(Full PC specs at bottom)

I'm having a few problems with the new PC I've built (first ever). First of all, I get a "CPU Fan Error!" on Startup, I have a Corsair H100i with two Noctua NF-F12 PWM fans attached in push configuration (exhaust). The pump is plugged into CPU_OPT and the fans connected to CPU_FAN via splitter. My CPU is at stock (at 30-ish °C, and for some reason - to me this seems odd - only at 0.9v)
Secondly, I'm noticing problems in-game, like terrible lag in Minecraft on Max settings, Metro Last Light and Metro 2033 causing freezes, the former lagging in-game too.
Thirdly, I notice my Intel 240GB SSD is filling up rather quickly and so far I've only installed 5 games (incl. Minecraft) - why does the available memory seem to be going up and down constantly?

I'm also concerned about how loud my computer can be when playing Metro Last Light on max settings (almost), considering I haven't overclocked any components yet (and don't really plan to).

Oh and BTW, I've been getting unplayable ping (150+) in-game with the mPCI wireless card supplied with the motherboard so I've just ordered a Linksys usb (cba to get a PCI card), how does a dual-band usb fair at a distance of about 13 metres from the router?

Thanks, I know it was a boring read, but I'm quite concerned about my PCs performance after paying £1300 for it :S

Edit: I forgot to mention, my CPU fans are apparently running at around 500RPM in BIOS

The Noctuas are great quiet case fans, but aren't great for radiator cooling, especially as exhaust, since they don't move as much air as others.

Also, what kind of temps are you getting on the CPU and GPU during gameplay?

And what all do you have on your SSD? I have Windows 7, all my programs, Far Cry 3, DayZ and one other I can't remember on a 128GB with about 35GB free.

I bought the Noctuas because LinusTechTips had them on one of his setups (also with H100i) and in the same configuration with great performance. I'm about to run a test on temps, and on my SSD I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, Metro Last Light, Metro 2033, CSGO, Bioshock Infinite, Office Starter, Steam and Fraps - that's it.

240GB SSD = about 220 useable, take off about 30 for Windows and cache, 16 for Metro, 17 for Bioshock, 5 for Counterstrike, leaves you with around 150GB free you should be at. Steam also (for whatever reason) downloads and installs DirectX each time you download/install a new game, so you would have 4 instances of that as well.

What kind of fan profile are you using? And do you have the low noise adapters on the Noctuas?

I don't have the L.N.As on the fans, but I can't tell which fans are which on HWmonitor, there are two options: Chassis #2 and CPU, but the CPU fan is apparently running at 2290RPM, and Chassis #2 at around 800RPM... which is confusing because (and I do have the Noctuas plugged into "CPU_FAN" port on the motherboard) the Noctuas have a max RPM of only 1500 without L.N.As... so I don't know how they've mixed them up :S
