I am not good with computers, but learning everyday, I installed netflix on my dell. Well it said that my media player was outdated, so dummy me clicked to updated and it went down hill from there. I have this trojan that wont go away. I have tried everything to remove it. I was told by a friend that the best way to get rid of it is to start all over on my computer and do a recovery with my windows 7 and reinstall it. I dont have the software for it. I do have the numbers that was down loaded onto my computer. Is there anyway of getting that information so i dont have to purchase a new software for windows 7 proffesional?? I just dont understand the computer world. Please help me
Thank you so kindly

You will want to run a program called Malwarebytes you can get it free from filehippo.com. That will clear up any REAL trojans. However, you most likely have an add on in your browser that can be removed easily. Just follow the instructions here (copy and paste into url bar) https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/200523808-How-To-Disable-Plugins-Add-ons-Extensions-in-Multiple-Browsers . Make sure to remove ANYTHING you do not use. NO ADD ONS ARE REQUIRED FOR YOUR BROWSER TO WORK NORMALLY. There is also a chance you have a program installed that is affecting your browsers. Look for any registery cleaners/ pc tuner programs and removed them (unless you have used it and verified it works with our requiring a purchase). Good luck!
