If you find a mobo that works AND it is different than the one you have, your Windows OS is not going to run. OEM's like HP, Dell etc use an OEM os that is tied to the motherboard. You *MAY* be able to find the mobo on ebay (from a PC repair dealer).
Otherwise you are st the mercy of HP or microsoft to 'fix' your OS.

Thanks for your input, as I'm not experienced with replacing parts aside from memory or hard drives I wasn't aware about the OS issues if I change mobo brands. I'll more than likely go with another narra3.
