Should i get the creative sound hd titanium with the pc 360 which totals around a little more than 300 or just the astro a40 with the mixamp for 250. I currently have realkek on board audio and I would install an unsigned driver with ddl for the mixamp. which one would sound better, and be more cost effective? thanks

Get an external DAC, will beat out any sound-card. the a40 is a great headset and the mix-amp counts as a sound card. do not buy a sound card if you are planning to buy the a40
