gtx 760 and phenom II x4 945

I already have the phenom II I'm just upgrading my gpu and was wondering if the gtx 760 would perform well or if I should upgrade my CPU soon

Yes that card is going to be Schweet. However, that CPU will NOT utilize all of its raw omgwtfbbq power. I have noticed that Intel processors (even a dual core i3) will push GPUs a lot better than AMD. The exception being the 8350, but for that price you could go cheaper with an i3 or i5 (ironic right?).

What is your motherboard? If you currently run an AM3+ mb then i would look to also get a FX 8320. Some sites have it on sale or at least did a week ago or for a short term fix you could look at just overclocking the 945 to about 3.6-3.8 ghz and that would help you out a bit.

i have an asus m2n32 sli deluxe. i think its am2+. is it possible to oc my cpu? its not unlocked
