UEFI on Ubuntu 14.04?

Will Ubuntu 14.04 have UEFI enabled? I am building a pc to run minecraft with shaders and don't want to spend an extra 90-100$ on Win8, but at the same time would like to overclock my cpu. Will I be able to install Ubuntu with UEFI?

Thanks, does that mean I can overclock my i5 on a MSI z87 g45?

You can use the following procedure to install Ubuntu on UEFI systems, maybe it helps you http://www.bytelinux.com/install-ubuntu-14-10-server-with-custom-partition-layout-using-lvm-on-uefi-systems/
