Computer boots up only when I move a cable inside the computer

When I try to reboot my desktop (which I built) it won't turn on unless I move one of the cables up or down. It will then proceed to boot and work fine. Every time I put my computer to sleep or shut off, I have to manually open up my desktop and start moving one of the cables inside until it boots. I checked to make sure all cables are plugged in correctly. I think it might be a bad wire or MoBo issue. Sorry, I am not being very specific, because I am lost. Thanks for the help!

I am not sure if it is a power supply cable or a SATA Cable. If it is a power supply cable, it looks a lot like the first cable. I can't try another power supply because I only own one.

That is a "Molex" cable. Yes these are notorious for either having bad connectors or not seating properly when connected. What is the cable going into?

Try swapping with another. Your power supply should have a couple.

I just opened up my computer, checked to make sure everything is intact. Now, when I shut off it does turn back on when I want it too. It must have been a loose power supply cable. Thanks everyone and I will reply again if something happens again.

I lied. What I did figure out however, is that when my computer is off, the standyby power LED should always be on. However, when I shut my computer off or put it to sleep, it turns off. So it definitely is a power supply issue.
