how to free space?

how do i find out which programs and things that were downloaded are taking up space i have 14gb space left

Go to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall A Program

You will see a list of programs you have installed. Uninstall unused/unwanted programs.

You can also run Disk Cleanup. Just click the "Start" button at the bottom left of the screen, then type Disk Cleanup in the box. This should give you a bit more space. :)

There are more options that you can include in the "cleanup". Pretty much anything in the disk cleanup utility you can do without. See if you can check off some more boxes and gain more space.

The vast majority of you space gain will some from deleting programs/files that you don't want/use anymore. The only other option besides that is to buy more space in another hard drive.
