GT635m not appearing in Device manager fix? URGENT

Hi, i need some help with my laptop graphics card, i have an ASUS N55S, it is meant to have a GT635m graphics card, however it is not functioning or appearing in the Device manager. Also when i try to update the driver software it says there is no compatible hardware.The Specs of the laptop are shown below, as is what appears (or what doesnt appear) in the device manager. Any help would be much appreciated as im trying to sell my laptop at the moment to upgrade to a PC and this is the last thing i need to happen.

install the latest drivers from nvidia, and if that does not work, check to see that it actually even has the gpu (check the box). if that doesnt work, take it back to the store you bought it from, as there is something physically wrong with it

no, as in i cant install the drivers as it isnt detecting that a Graphics is Present in the laptop. and neither can i do that as it is 2 years old and out of warranty

then your gpu has died in a relatively typical fashion. take it to your local computer shop, will cost you $60 but at least they will let you know whether or not you need to buy a new laptop, or if they can fix it

Im pretty sure it hasn't died, as only a few hours ago- a driver less GPU appeared in the Display Adapters, which doesn't appear now. And the Problem is several days old- so if the GPU had died, why was appearing in the Display drivers only a few hours ago?
But okay i shall have to do that.
