In an AIO desktop, will 65W TDP matter vs 77W TDP CPU?

I am looking to upgrade the Intel quad core in my DELL AIO. I checked all the prereq specs such as LGA 1155/Socket H2 mobo, phy size, and all that. so now I'm left with two choices. a core i7 with 65W TDP and a Xeon with 77W TDP. The price is negligible so price isn't a factor. Tech specs are almost the same. What I want to know will it make a difference if I use a processor with more TDP, the Xeon with 77Ws in place of my current 65W processor? Are there any heating/cooling considerations given that this is an AIO and not a full blown desktop?

Don't want to melt my AIO. Please advise. Thanks!

Solution
Depends on your model of Dell AIO--it may have the power and cooling chops to run a 77w CPU, but if you're currently using a 65w then I'd be safe and stick with that. A Xeon has negligible performance increases over an i7 anyways.

Hi

Before considering a Xeon CPU check if the bios supports this CPU
Unlikely if rated at 77w when thermal limit is 65W

What is your current CPU i3 , i5 or pentium ?

Can your software use 8 threads or is a i5 (4 cores / threads) better value for money

HELLO, Dell sells this model AIO in a intel i7-3370s version as well. I'm going to assume that since Dell sells either flavor at different price points, its BIOS will support either CPU. This is a valid premise right?
