Hey
I have two Hard drives
1. ) WDC WD3200YS-01PGB0 ATA Device (320 GB SATA Western Digital)
2. ) ST3500414CS ATA Device (500 GB SATA Segate)
I was using WD hard drive but I have to send it for repairs now as it is making small noises. So I bought this Segate 500 GB to copy my data then send WD HDD to repair. But my WD Hdd is a dynamic disk and Segate is a basic Disk. I want to copy all of its data to my new hard drive but I can not do so. I have tried several software, manual copy it just doesn't work.
This is what I am doing:
1. ) Booting from WD Hdd.
2. ) Copying Data to Segate Hdd. It is copied successfully.
3. ) Booting on Segate Hdd to check if data is there. But there is no data copied.

Then I tried this:
1. ) Booting from Segate Hdd.
2. ) Importing Foreign Disk to system From Disk Management.
3. ) Copying Data from WD hdd, it is copied successfully.
4. ) Booting from WD hdd and there is no data again.

I have tried every possible thing that came to my mind. I am using windows 8 64bit on both hard drives and I have tried the following software to copy:
1.) Disk Management (Windows 8)
2.) Acronis True Image (WD & Segate Version)
3.) EaseUS Partition Master 9.3 Professional
4.) MiniTool Partition Wizard
I tried using CloneZilla but I could not boot it. I am getting some error about vesamenu.c32.

What should I do? Also If someone can please explain the logic behind this that will be appreciated.
