I'm currently looking to buy a desktop PC with decent enough specs but on a budget. I have found one that I'm interested in which is the Asus M11BB 8GB 2TB. However the graphics on the unit are AMD Radeon HD7650D. I would prefer to have dedicated graphics with memory but I can't seem to find any pre-built PCs within my budget that have them as well as a decent hard drive. If I was to get the Asus desktop would it be possible to upgrade the graphics card to a better one? And if so how hard would it be for a complete desktop building novice?

Yes, you can upgrade your card. Your motherboard has a 16x pci 2.0 slot that will handle and video card on the market and your processor and ram will do as well. You would have to figure what your power supply is (just cant remember) and determine how much you want to spend on a card. Make sure the card can physically fit which is the most overlooked concept for novices. Once you buy the card, its a simple as connecting it to motherboard 16x slot, plugging in connectors (usually 6/8 pins plugs) from power supply, and installing drivers after booting computer. Very easy to do.

Not that hard, it involves opening the side panel of your computer, removing one screw that holds the GPU in place, and moving a clip to pull it out. Completely do-able. However, hard drives are dang cheap on newegg, and 2TB is pretty big, even for today. I have a 3TB time capsule, and with 3 macbook pros backing up once a week each, I still have 1.9 TB left. All of the laptops have between 512 and 750 GB. Replacing or adding a hard drive is just as easy.
