Hello everyone,

I am looking for a Socket 1150 motherboard which supports parallel use of the integrated CPU graphics (the CPU is a i5-4670) and graphics from a PCIe graphic card. I want to be able to use one monitor with the integrated graphics, and another with the PCIe graphic card (the reason is multiseat). I googled and people say that most motherboards don't support such behavior. Does anybody knows a Socket 1150 MB which supports this.

Thanks in advance for your infos.

I need it for multiseat, (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/xorg_multiseat). I dont want to use a single one ( because it has limitations), and i am looking for a way not to buy two graphic cards if I can use the integrated one.

I can confirm you that Asus Z87-PRO is capable of running both the discrete GPU and the integrated graphic card in oaraklel, as I used it to run my monitor via HDMI on a gtx650 and to feed my home theatre via HDMI from the iGPU - motherboard. To have the integrated card enabled even if you have a discrete one, it's a aetting in BIOS and that's it.

Thanks for the infos.

The Asus Z87-PRO costs a little bit too much for my situation. I was thinking about a MB in the 70-80€ rang. In germany the Asus Z87-PRO costs 150€, for that money I could buy two GPU cards.

You can try the much cheaper Asus B85M-G which is a Micro ATX MB with HDMI and DVI-D outputs.
On Amazon Germany it should cost € 66 including shipping.

Asus BIOS should support the iGPU together with the discrete GPU, but I cannot confirm it for sure as I never tested it.
The user manual on Asus website seems yo imply it should work, see it on
http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1150/B85M-G/E8146_B85M-G.pdf
But I would ask directly Asus to confirm it.

Have also a look at www.pcpartpicker.com which helps you select compatible components to what you have or to what you have in mind to buy.
