I need to take of my 212 and remount it. One of the screws is not going in properly. I remembered I need to clean off both the cpu and 212.

Where can I buy alcohol (which % matters the most) and the right cloth to clean it?

Also, do I need to take the CPU out of the socket to clean it? Cant i just rub it carefully with a damp cloth? I just installed the cpu and cooler 7 days ago.

Hello man


I understand taking it off is risky. But, I would recommend it as to not cover your MOBO in excess alcohol, and then get stuck waiting for it to dry. Walgreens or Bartell Drugs will have what you need, just cotton pads and Rubbing Alcohol.
