Im looking to replace my father in-laws old pc. However he loves watching tv through windows media center and just has the basic channels via the coaxial cable going into a tv-tuner card in an expansion slot.
If I was going to build him a new computer is there a way I could use a digital high def signal. For example can I run my co-axial into an HD-receiver (like the kind used for tv watching) then use either component or hdmi out and run that to the pc and watch more channels+HD channels on my computer through windows media center? Thank you!
