I posted here before with basement network issues and have since done some research, finally deciding (hoping) to set up MoCa. I currently am subscribed with Verizon for internet and have a Netgear DGN2200 Modem hooked up to provide service to the house. The basement gets abysmal reception but has an available Coaxial cable. I am looking to purchase and Actiontec ECB2500c to bridge into the basement. I have remote/log in access to the Netgear but very little to no physical access to it. I have basic instructions to setting this up (configuring the bridge router, etc) but is there anything I'm overlooking or any brick walls you may see that I could run into before I go ahead and make purchases and such. Thank you in advance for any and all responses.

You will need 2 moca devices all these do is convert ethernet to coax and then back again.

So you hook the first moca device to the netgear and the coax. You then hook the second moca bridge to the coax and then to a PC. You will need a AP instead of a PC if you want wireless. The do make moca devices with wireless if you only want 1 box on the basement end
