Still don't know which of these I will buy. I want performance but also I'm a bit over my budget.

Hey, I'm building a new computer for the first time, and I have a problem. All the components together at the moment are a bit too expensive, so I'm looking for parts that have a cheaper alternative without sacrificing too much performance.

SSD: Samsung 250 GB EVO or Crucial M500 240 GB. I don't care about the extra 10 gb, but what I do care about is the higher write speeds from te samsung and the power loss protection of the crucial. Do you notice the difference and is there a real chance the drive will fail without power?

Motherboard: I'm buying an AMD FX 8320 with 2x 4G 1600 MHz RAM, but I'm not sure which mobo I should get. Right now I'm going for the Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0, but it is quite expensive compared to the ASRock 990FX Extreme3, is it worth the extra cash or does anyone know a good different motherboard?

Mouse: Right now the Rat 7, but I also like the Rat 5. Which is the best price/performance wise?

Allright those were the parts I am not sure of. If anyone could help me, I'd greatly appreciate it. Even if it was only with one of my problems.

SSD: Power Loss is a real concern, but not one I have ever had trouble with. I've never lost any data to any sort of power loss. I'd go with the Samsung, but I've heard the M500/M550 are also really good.

MOBO: Not really much of a need to go with such a powerful mobo... Although, temptation factors in. Hers one thats about 40 USD cheaper.

RAT 7 has more performance and you can adjust everything. But the 5 is just as good. Go with the RAT 5 if your budget cannot handle the increase to the rat 7

Wow thanks for the quick reply, i think I'll go for the crucial ssd then, because it is way cheaper. Your link doesn't work for me regrettably, since I live in Holland and they don't ship here. Could you tell me what mobo I could get? I want to overclock my cpu a bit, and I don't know if it is possible, but it must not bottleneck my R9 280x. Also not too few USB ports. As for the mouse, it'll be the rat 5. What I think is weird is that the site of cyborg said that the 7 and 9 had 6400 dpi and the 5 had 5600 dpi. where did you get your info and should you be right, does it really make a difference?

No, not noticeable in the DPI section unless you are a hardcore gamer.
I don't think there is a holland/netherlands site for amazon or newegg. The closest I can get is england and germany. The link should work, just take the component name and search from it at your online stores...
ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0
MBO that can overclock and is very good and from ASUS
