All drivers plus AMD drivers are up to date. Operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate in 64. Using the AMD Catalyst Control Center to enable Crossfire, then apply, a display will then come up showing crossfire enabled. As proof, when I go to play either Sniper Elite V2 or Sleeping Dogs with Crossfire enabled, neither game will launch. The computer crashes, then up comes a blue screen, resulting in a restart. Disabling crossfire I am able to launch and play either game. Recently I installed a program "Speccy" which gives your computers performance, graphic cards, temperature and crossfire setting etc. In this display crossfire always shows disabled even when it is not.
Speccy shows the following information under the Graphics section: VG248 (1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz) which is my monitor & setting. 2048MB ATI AMD Radeon HD7800 Series (ATI AIB) 2048MB ATI AMD Radeon HD7800 Series (MSI). Crossfire disabled. Any one have any idea why Speccy and AMD settings do not match. My graphic cards, power cables and bridge cable have be checked and rechecked for proper connections. Going to Speccy website, a member there has submitted the same question. No answers were given at this time. Thanks for any help.
