Hello Jhague49,

I believe you will be just fine as the Z75 and Z77 are of the same generation/silicon, just tuned to different usage scenarios. I do recommend going to intel.com, select support, drivers, and automatically find drivers, just to be sure you are up to date with chipset drivers.

Good Luck to you!

Well my biggest concern is when I do go to Intels website is says that it cant recognize my chipset to update it. Everything is working just fine. Also I am not able to find my windows key to activate it any help on that one as well?

if the license was in it (I am assuming you just dropped the HDD in it and powered on) all you should have to do is tell it to activate online and be done.

As to the Intel chipset, get the drivers off the MoBo support site to start with... this will tell you what is is and then you can use that knowledge to get them off the Intel site
