Hey guys, since two days ago i been running some benchmarks.

Day 1 - Everything was at stock with performance mode for the H100i. Idle temps were 40-33c. I thought this was oddly high even at stock speeds. I ran couple prime95 and aida65 to see my temperature levels on load. About one minute into the test for both programs my temps would go +95-99c like it was made to do that. I was thinking i must have seated the h100i wrong when i built my computer couple days ago. So i ordered the arctic mx-4 the same night.

Day 2 - Temperatures was constantly 40-32 degrees throughout all cores, core one being the highest. Since I have to wait a day for my new thermal paste I decided to just play some games such as BF4, AC4, Total Rome 2, and Skyrim with +30 mods. My temps would never go past 70c.

Day 3 - My mx-4 arrived today! I used the pea method while reseating. My temperatures were 2-3c lower than before. Ran a quick test and I was getting around high 70's on average. Curious, I spent more than an hour researching and decided to use the rubber grommets from my hard drives to help mount the backplate for the H100i. Now the screws weren't wiggling as much as before without the grommets. After reseating it for the last time i was getting around 36-30c. A little bit better than before so i ran 2 trials of prime95 and aida65 for fifteen minutes each. I was reaching 65-70c throughout all cores. Much better than 95c i had previously.

I did some more snooping and found out that i should change the voltage settings for the 4770k to manual and set it at around 1.10-1.20. So i went ahead and set my voltage to 1.10. My average temps now are 35-29c, 35c being the first core. My temps were slightly improved so I went and did another 2 trials of Prime95 and Aida65. Surprisingly for all 4 test i was getting 54-59c on average throughout all cores.

So are my temps alright for a 4770k on stock with h100i? I feel like if i overclock my system to at least 4.3 with 1.2-1.3 volts i will be getting outrageous temps.

I was reading your day three and last part 30-36C and the 29-35C which looked fine. It is the load temperatures that really matter not the idle. Also your ambient temperature will have a drastic effect on the temperatures if people are getting 29C or lower the are somewhere in the 25 or lower for...

Thanks for taking the time and reading my post above.

My PC is stable and it hasn't crashed or anything with the last settings i mentioned. But on stock without changing the voltage for the 4770k, isn't constant 40-32c pretty high? Pump is running on average 2228 rpm, with both fans at 1800 rpm. I read numerous post with people that has the 4770k and h100i were getting lower than 29c on there first core while idle and on stock settings.
