internet speed is still normal but ping is higher

my internet speed is the still the same , download speed also but i have a strange issue and its since 2 days ago and im having very high ping it was like 70-80 now ms its 195 - 215 ms although nothing has been changed

Airtel is cellular isn't it?

If so, that's very dependent on what the load on the cellsite is like.

yeah i know im playing an online game and always in the same server i had 70 ping now im getting 195 ping

Is there anything happening in your area that might mean a whole lot more people turned up?

You may need to wait till a less congested time of day, or it's possible a cellsite failed so more people ended up on yours.

same thing happened with me and my friend too. We are both using airtel broadband connection. The download speed is very good but the ping has gone higher. Dont know the reason.

Sounds like Airtel is having some issues. The other option is that someone put a digger through a fibre conduit, so the traffic is going in a longer route

i live in egypt idk which company provides the small companies internet but my provider called link dot net my friends dont have the same problem i had it once last month but it was only for one day
