Put two new sticks of ram into a pc built ~3 years ago. They are supposed to be the same exact sticks as the two it already has, but the new chips are slightly bigger.. Still the same model # and stuff so I've no idea whether or not thats significant. At first Win7 loaded fine, but blackscreened not long after. After rebooting, it went to blackscreen again before it finished loading windows.
(it did start loading windows, but blackscreen before desktop.) The old sticks were in slots 2&4, and I put the new ones in slots 1&3. I tried switching them, but still no luck. I know little about hardware, so I've no idea if i'm doing something wrong there.

At this point it boots to windows ok, but crashes when I try to do much of anything. The "windows has recovered from..." message on reboot seems to say it was a bluescreen. I saw no bluescreen..? But I'm putting a link to the minidump file anyway.

So I dunno if its the new RAM or something else at this point, but any help is much appreciated.

Minidump file for whatever its worth:

Other info-
I just recenty installed Win7 64 bit. It had xp on it before. Win7 seemed to run fine before, though.
I also tried resetting the cmos battery, which was probably a bad idea since i'm unaware of what all that did.
I haven't installed much on it yet. Just google chrome, java, and MBAM.

What's the model #s, can find in CPU-Z in the SPD tab as part #, under the memory slot# for each stick....Prob need timing adjustments for both base timings as well as 1 or 2 of the advanced timings and voltage to the DRAM itself and the MC (memory controller) should be no big deal...also check that you have the latest BIOS
