Hello,

So I am building my first pc in years and I am wondering if I need to get additional fans for my setup. I am using a Corsair Vengeance c70 case with an i5 4670K (CM Hyper 212 EVO on that) and a Gigabyte Windforce GTX 770 4GB. The case comes with two stock fans on the back of the drive cage at the bottom of the front, and one fan at the top of the backside of the case. Any ideas on how much I should invest in fans to make sure everything is safe? What temperature should everything be resting at in there?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Beside the 3 included fans, i would install one top mounted 120, or 140mm cooler running as exhaust. Or even better, if the front fans that are installed on the hard drive cage can be removed and installed at the front of the case, they will suck air form the outside, instead of the inside of the case.

You should be more than fine with the three built in fans.
Unless you are going to be doing some heavy duty overclocking three fans are more than plenty!

I personally run anywhere between 60C and 75C, and I only have 2 case fans installed.
You don't want it to be too noisy either...
