Hey guys,
I am a noob when it comes to ram, power supply, graphic cards, etc and the kind. My laptop just broke down and I am planning to buy a new desktop computer. I am not much of a hardcore gamer, but I do play Runescape, League of Legends, GTA San Andreas, and games like that. I also like to watch HD videos, and surf the net. I also don't mind a nice resolution.
So my question is desktop computer do you guys recommend for the above stuff? I really don't know whether to buy a assembled computer or assemble it myself. Please help me out.
Thanks in advance!

Since I'm not much of an expert on these new APU things I'm not going to suggest them 100% for you but I think for the games and HD content a new Kaveri (7850k) or Richland (6800k?) would do just fine couple with some 4-8GB ram. Since the games are not much graphics intense I think with an APU you wouldn't even need a dedicated graphics card at first.

Also what I can say 100% sure is never buy OEM PC's, just assemble it yourself. You'll get the same thing for less money, sure you'll spend some time putting it all together but in my opinion it's the best part :)

If you need monitor, OS, keyboard, mouse, desk, fridge, or an anamatronic dinosaur, then $650 won't work. For the PC itself, it'll work, if you strip out a whole bunch of LEDs and stuff, but nothing too important.

If you need a monitor, get one that's 5ms or less response time, and 1920x1080 or higher (you want 16:9 aspect ratio). I can place a video up showing how you should pick your monitor.

Hope it helps!
