Will my bus speed cap my system performance?

I am planning on getting another r9 270x for a Xfire configuration. Of course, I am doing this for more speed. My motherboard is a MSI 970A-G46. Will this cap my speed? and if so, would it still be worth it?

depends on the cpu your gonna use with it. a lot of people are reporting there not getting the performance they expected when they pair them with the lower end amd fx cpu's

Well I have a fx-6300. I've also done some research on this, and some people say that I would be fine and some people say that it will bottleneck my system. I was also planning on getting a aftermarket cpu cooler, and do a slight overclocking. Do you think my CPU could handle a configuration like 2 r9 270x?
