Please don't compare them pricewise since these 2 kinds of RAM are about the same price in The Netherlands:

G.Skill Ripjaws Z Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2400 Memory

or

Team Xtreem 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2666 Memory

If you want to know for what system I'm gonna use it:

According to Corsair the 2400 does perform better then RAM running at lower clock speeds for about the same price, but what I really want to know is what are the differences in performance if you compare 2400 with 2666?

Which one should I take? It looks like the Team Xtreem would be better.

Solution
You won't notice a thing with those speeds. Maybe 1 FPS?
You could also grab a cheaper 1600mhz / 1866mhz CL9 from Corsair or Kingston and have 2/3 FPS less then those kits.

RAM just doesn't inpact performance as much for a build of that kind. APU's however do benefit from higher speeds.

Edit*: Go for the G.Skills.

But if the price is about the same, why wouldn't I go for the 2666mhz? And have you read this?
http://www.corsair.com/en-us/blog/2014/march/haswellrealworld

Article of Corsair shows decent gains on haswell with faster ram. At stock a 4770k with 2400 completely closed the 10fps gap to a 4.5ghz 4770k w/1600 in Starcraft2

*Edit: Hmm, 2666 just seems like overkill I might go for 2400 then.

In my oppinion, RAM is not really the place to look for huge performance increase. Most higher clocked rams get quite expensive fast which is money better spend in a better GPU.

I am running an i7 4930K @ stock with 1600mhz CL10's and it runs great. Read that if i'd OC the CPU @ 4.2ghz a 1866mhz would be better but the increase in performance would only be like 2~4 FPS. So i picked the ones that where 1600mhz CL10's which looked great for my color scheme and went for it. Price range isn't that different with 1866mhz it was just what i was comfortable with it in Price / Looks / Performance.

What are the timings on that RAM?
With ram you need to watch 2 things:
- Clockspeed (mhz)
- Latency (CL)

The 2666MHz is 11-13-13-35 but it looks like it is made for the z77 chipset, in my build I have z87 so that might not work.

Thank you, will read this first then but I guess I know the outcome already, either 1600MHz or 1866MHz RAM will be fine as LavyDunois already said :).
