changing motherboard cause any problem wíth os?

hello people i was going to ask if i change my motherboard to a new one with same chipset as the old one, will i need to buy new windows 8 licence or how does it work. any information that i need to know when changing motherboard would be great. thanks :).

+ btw it was a prebuild pc so i dont have the discs for windows..

thanks for reply.. can i still clean install windows without the windows 8 discs, i forgot to say that my pc was prebuilt.

Is it an an OEM PC or just some compatible a shop threw together. Either way You will have to make a system image before replacing motherboard. It would be something like the following link example:
