Ok, so I finally pulled the trigger on what apparently is shaping up to be the build of my lifetime... In the sense that it's the most expensive thing I've ever purchased, but we'll get to that later..

Anyway. I am having some trouble finding a few bits of information... Here are my questions, and I appreciate any help you fine folks can offer...

1) What size PSU am I going to need, to run the quadfire 290x, and 3930k? Yes, I am looking to overclock, and yes, I am hoping to mine a bit while not gaming. Dual PSU?

2) I went with (2) 1440p (Korean) monitors, one for gaming, the other for BS'ing... Now, I'm debating of whether or not to go for a third, and eyefinity the setup. Does anyone have any benchmarks of quadfire 290x running eyefinity with 1440p? I keep googling, and getting no where...

So, those are my questions.. What size PSU am I going to need to properly supply these things while mining? I see as much as 330w being pulled per each card while mining. So, 330w*4 puts me at 1320w, plus the CPU overclocked would be what, 300w? So, 1620w... This thing will also have (22) AP-15 fans running, along with an MCP35x2.. But I don't know where that puts me.

Dual Supernova E2 850w?

Hahah, well, I'm glad that my purchase emanates the truth of my single-ness... ;c)

Yeah homie, watercooled! All I'll hear is the lovely sounds of the ocean while these beasts run.. ;c) Quad-EK full cover nickel blocks w/backplates up in this bish!

I don't know if the stryder 1500W will suit. It has 8 12v rails. It has 4 x 8 pin/6 pin.One on each rail @ 25amps each. Should suffice.
I'm looking to do something similar eventually but my current HIS 280x's run 4 x 8 pin so that's 50 amps per card:)

CFX at full gaming load at 1440p the psu exhaust is barely warm, is inaudible from a few feet away.

Well, at the moment I have a Cooler Master M2 Silent Pro 1500w.. So, perhaps just stick with this one? I only bought it because it came at a good deal, and as a stand in.. Maybe I should just stick with it then?

Sounds good, but I don't know electrical for crap.. So, 50 amps is low, or high?

Why do need a psu recommendation, yours currently will be fine. The quad fire power rating don't quite work as you presented. Your fine with 1500w.

I could never adjust to more than one monitor in gaming. Looks very nice though.
Roll on affordable 4k gaming i say:)
