Hi,

I wish to connect the following devices to a USB hub in my living room which will be connected via my internal WiFi to the receiver attached to my computer in an another room (15m + wall):
keyboard,mouse,joystick,headphones+mic

I have found THIS product but I'm not sure it will answer my needs.

I would appreciate any advice on providing a solution for this setup requirement.

Thank you,

Wow that thing looks great. I didn't know that they existed until now. Never used on but nice find and I may use one in the future. From the description, it looks as though it will do what you need but obviously I have no experience with one. I would risk it. Save a few bucks at Newegg.

Thanks for the link, I am not sure that this device will do the job because they state that it is meant to work as a "shared center" for printers,HDDs etc. and not HIDs.
A colleague of mine suggested the following solution:
Use USB Ethernet extension Hubs + http://dx.com/s/powerline%2bnetwork%2badapter?Sort=Revi... (for example) thus eliminating the need for wireless usage.
These adapters work well for his internet connection.

I'm also looking into extending HDMI/DP from my PC to the TV (in the same room where I want the USB hub), here is a wireless solution:

But I'll look into Ethernet solution as well.

I would appreciate any comments on the update above.

Thanks,
