Trying to find ram for gaming PC, i7-4770k CPU, gtx 770 gpu.
Initially found Trident X 1600 cl 7 which sounded great because they also have removeable tops to be low porfile(needed for Hyper 212 EVO) but turns out these were 2x8gb and 16gb is a bit overkill and I could save a good bit of money going down to 8gb total.
Any suggestions for a low latency ram that fit with my fan? I also heard that my CPU might prefer higher MHz ram so suggestions for 1600+ also welcomed
