What would this PC rig be worth and would it all work?

Hi everyone, I'm new to these forums but have a question I'd like to ask. I'm looking to build a new gaming rig that would 1) sell on for a profit and 2) work (obviously!).

It would be as follows:
Corsair 750w PSU,
AMD FX8350 Black Edition 8 Core CPU (4.2ghz),
Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z Motherboard,
8gb (2x4gb) corsair vengeance RAM,
Sapphire R9 280X 3GB Toxic GPU,
Barracuda 2Tb SATA Hard Drive,
Cougar Challenger Ultimate Gaming Case (color scheme works with GPU which is nice!)
and Windows 7 Home Premium.

Would all of these items work together and make a good gaming rig and would they (once assembled) have a resale value of anything that's £1000+???

Thanks a lot,
Can't wait for an answer.

Tom

After taking into account your shipping and the buyers shipping, you should still be able to, considering what online retailers are charging for similar builds.

So are you saying if I were to resell this once assembled I should be able to get more than what I would have originally paid? and also would all these parts work together (Is this a valid computer build)?

Can you recommend a build that would output the same specs but be cheaper? This is my first time doing something like this so don't have any experience. I just want a place to start and to do so I need an investment from a willing friend/family member and the only way that'll happen is if they/I think/know they'll get there money back.

Thanks for your super quick answer/s btw, it's great.

Will get equivalent performance in everything, including gaming. Although, I would think about some kind of CPU cooler, at least a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO (for around 25 pounds) since this is built for performance.

Yes, you should if you sell it in your local classifieds or eBay.
