Okay, so I've been looking to get a windforce 760 card. It seems to beat everything else by performance/price, and I've seen it needs a 8 pin and a 6 pin to power it. My 630 watt corsair PSU only has 6 pin cables on it. Is there an adapter I can buy, or do I need to get a better PSU?

You can buy a molex to 6pin and a 6pin to 8pin but sometimes that can be dangerous as the power may not be sufficient enough for your GPU. If you really want to be safe but keep it cheap I would reccomend upgrading to an hx/cx series of power supply. They both come with the right amount of adapters for your GPU.

Hope I helped, Maurice

You only need one 8-pin. The other is a 6-pin:

The adapter you need for 4-pin molex to PCIe 8-pin comes in the box with the GPU.

You'll be fine with what you have.
