A few questions about cf, sli and whether my psu is big enough

So im looking into going with 2 gpus, and my choices are either 2 4gb gtx 670's, or 2 r9 280x's. Which is going to give me more performance?

Also is my chieftek 750w 80+ gold psu enough for those 2 gpus, an i7 3930k, corsair h100i, 16gb ram, couple of wd blues and a 120gb kingston ssd?

The r9 280x is on par with the gtx 770 which is superior to the gtx 670. My recommendation: go for the r9 280x crossfire.
As for the PSU, it might just work. Since it's a gold psu it should be able to handle those two, but if you're feeling unsure, just go for a 850W PSU.

If I recall correctly, Chieftek isn't that great with PSUs. Could be wrong though. But in any event, a 750W PSU would be able to handle SLI 770s (no reason to go with 4GB unless you're gaming with three monitors). 280xs might be different as they do draw more power.
