MSI P67A-GD55 does not recognize all the RAM

I had 2x4gb ram in my pc and i bought a new ram 1x4gb. but in the BIOS menu and the Windows it says 6GB ram instead of 8..

Can you please help me?

Both Rams old and new run at 1333mhz!

Do you mean 2X2GB + 1X4GB instead of 2X4GB + 1X4GB?
But try to clear the CMOS by removing the battery, and reboot again. If the PC still only shows 6GB, then try install the 1X4GB only to make sure it works.

yes you are correct! the new ram works! ive tried that! the combination fails...

Because you mix the RAM so that they may not work together, you can try to manual set the timing or voltage in the BIOS RAM section.
What are those RAM specifications?

The one looks like the 2133mhz, the new is 1333mhz, you can go to the BIOS set to 1333mhz 9-9-9-27 ( check your MB manual ). And you do have the 8GB (2X4GB) 2133Mhz you will be more than enough for most usage, it is not a good idea to buy other single 1333mhz RAM.
