saints row three hangs on the loading screen when i start the campaign!

when i start the saints row 3 campaign it starts with the loading screen but after a few seconds the music stops and the sceen goes black, i waited for some time time but then a prompt poped up saying that "saints row 3 has encountered an error" im not really tech savvy and i have no idea what to do.

You should list your system specs(cpu/board/gpu(video card)/power supply/ect) for us to better understand what is going on.

You may have a heat(check the heatsinks for dust and use and air duster to clean them if needed) issue or a driver issue(Please ensure you have the latest drivers. Video card being very important).
