That psu is okay for your system. But with that cpu, you should have something like r9 270 or 270x to avoid bottlenecks.
If budget is problem then you should get Athlon x4 760k so you might be able to afford an r7 260x.
760k with r7 260x is a better option than fx 6300 and r7 250

I sell and use Thermal Take PSU and that is not a good model. Don't go cheap on the power supply you'll just have to change it again later to use better components any way and if it goes bad it could damage your motherboard VGA card... Try this model it isn't too expensive.

I wouldn't recommend the Athlon x4 because of a limited upgrade scope on the fm2 socket. Budget wise a Intel Pentium would be a better suggestion.

However, I'm under the impression he already has all of these components so this is an irrelevant matter. Your rig isn't the most power hungry (unless you have a heavy overclock on that 6300) so this corsair will be sufficient. It also has a mail in rebate to bring the price down to $30.00. Although a budget line, Corsair is more reputable than Thermaltake.

Corsair has a good reputation, however some of their budget lines can be quirky. The seasonic you just listed is actually the same one I have, just a lower wattage. I can personally recommend that because it has not given me any problems the past 7 months that I have owned it.

Well for a budget rig like $500-600 I still think athlon 760k is better. It already is a better cpu than g3420 and you can oc it more than pentium and they both are around the same price.

Valid point, but from what op has said so far, he already has the above posted rig. He probably is simply replacing his psu for a modular one. With that said, I would still recommend the seasonic Paul listed earlier. Seasonic sells nothing but quality products and is generally regarded as the best out there.
