4th gen i5 vs 4th gen i7

hi all, my first post in here. i am looking at two all in one sytems for my wife. one has the i5 4440 and the other has the i7 4770 but there is a big price difference, my question is this, is it worth going to the i7? the main use is e-mail via outlook with around 3, 000 emails in it (dont ask why) voice rec with dragon naturaly speaking and web design using artiststeer. no video work and no gaming. would i be better of getting the i5 and upping the ram from 8g to 16?

ok thanks guys for the imput, she likes to have loads of tabs open and i have been on her machine and found 15 internet tabs, 12 word docks, 3 web builds and out look running with god knows how many e-mail pains open. her old scer i5 650 with 4gb is struggleing and i do end up getting drawn into the best we can afford but after a night mare with dell i had to rethink startergy, i was buyinh an xps 2720 from them but it never made it out of the box so i gotta thinking about what she really needs as opposed to what I wanted to buy

Buy her i5 and good SSD to run PC extremely fast and smoothly!
