I bought a computer with a Windows 7 Business license. The harddrive had been wiped so I need to re-install it. I cannot read the product key because it is halfway peeled off. Where can I get a disk to fix it? I was told I need a Windows 7 OEM Restore Disk...

The OEM is a restore disk from the manufacturer of the computer itself. Not only that, but I believe you will have to still enter a product key, for the OEM disk is just a Windows disk, and is not pre-activated.

I'd be happy to help you further with this. What is the model and make of the computer?

If it has been wiped, and you can't read the key, you pretty much have to buy a new copy of the OS.

Win 7 Professional - http://www.amazon.com/Windows-Professional-System-Build...

Doubtful you could get a 'Restore Disk' from the manufacturer, because you are not part of that original business license.
