New Asus 7870 wont display on moniter

Hi, i bought a new asus amd 7870 and fitted it all in, at first i only connected one of 6 pin connecters and all the fans and everything worked but no display, then i connected a second 6 pin connector and when i turned on my pc a alarm from the graphics card went off (exactly 6 beeps, not that loud) and still no display, have no idea what to do next, please help!
Specs:
Asus AMD Radeon HD 7870
AMD A10 6700k
Corsair 600w
8gb ram
(old card was integrated graphics)

Did you disable the onboard graphics in the BIOS first? (google it)

Your A10 was running your graphics before, and it might still be unless you tell the BIOS to prefer the PCI card.

Could you please tell me how to do this with windows 8, i've looked everywhere but mine isnt like them, when i press f2 on start up, it goes to a hp diagnotics help kinda place, what should i do?

For HP computers, you press F10 to enter the bios. Basically as soon as you restart your computer, start hitting F10 until you get there.

Yes i did this but still nothing, what else should try? and why does an alarm go off when i start it up with both connectors in?
