No, the design of the pc is up to you :)

Prodigy will do just fine.

Of course you might also want to consider getting a mid tower or full tower for upgrading purposes.

Ya it will work just fine you will have to be more conscious of airflow since it is a smaller case. Won't leave a lot of upgrade room though.

I don't plan in upgrading any time soon. So probably like in 5 years. But if i win the lottery well...

I don't see any reason for getting a Mini-ITX rig. It is really hard to upgrade, you won't have much room for a good airflow and finding compatible parts is somewhat hard. I would say it's too much of a headache for a PC that will just stay on top of your desk.

Even more wrong

There's plenty of ITX disadvantages, as well as issues with Prodigy cases (width and wobble are the obvious design quirks) but in general compatibility and airflow are not amongst them.
In a Prodigy you can simultaneously fit an i7, a Noctua NH-D14 (or similar oversized air cooler) a HD7990/GTX690 (or something equally silly), a standard ATX PSU (up to 160mm in length), an optical drive, two HDDs and up to 4 SSDs (dunno why anyone would want that, mind you). The reason - it's really not that small. For 99% of people, that's more PC than they will ever need.
As for airflow, most ATX cases can't brag of unimpeded front-back airflow. Replace the front fan with a 140/200/230mm, and you have airflow which can match and often beat conventional ATX towers, in part due to the short depth of the case. Similarly, with a graphics card sitting flush with the side of the case and it's own vents, graphics card temps can often be better than a mid/full tower.
It's true that ITX builds generally require more thought/planning, as it's much easier to limit yourself due to poor part selection, but if you get it right, it's no different to a standard ATX build. Given that a huge percentage of users need a single graphics card at most, and that most other features come as standard on motherboards, the argument against ITX as a day-to-day platform is pretty weak.
A Prodigy, due to it's size, actually makes more sense as a "compact" everyday PC than a LAN party machine. Speaking as a guy who's moved several Prodigy cases up multiple flights of stairs, they aren't all that portable.
