Thanks

$110 total is your budget? I don't think you'll be able to find much for that...

You're better off buying an old computer from craigslist or something and swapping in your harddrive.

s4in7 is correct. You can't buy a CPU, motherboard, memory, PSU and case for $110. A used PC is your only option and you may be able to find an inexpensise one without a hard disk.

I think it's impossible to get a CPU, Motherboard, RAM, GPU (unless you use integrated graphics or an AMD APU), case, PSU, OS and monitor for $110... You should get more money.

This is the CHEAPEST build I could get you:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Celeron E3200 2.4GHz Dual-Core Processor ($20.95 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Intel DQ45EK Mini ITX LGA775 Motherboard ($69.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: Kingston ValueRAM 1GB (1 x 1GB) DDR2-667 Memory ($14.98 @ Amazon)
Case: Xigmatek Recon ATX Mid Tower Case ($29.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Raidmax 380W ATX Power Supply ($11.98 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($89.98 @ OutletPC)
Monitor: Hannspree HL161ABB 15.6" Monitor ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $307.86
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

He also needs a monitor and an OS. The only parts he doesn't need are HDD and Optical Drive.

You're probably better off saving for a Chromebook. You can get used ones for around $100 now.

It will work... Just very slowly... If you can save money, do it. You'll regret buying this PC in a year because it's not upgradeable at all.

Get it if it is the best you find for your budget. Anyways, it's a desktop and not a laptop; it'll be easy for you to upgrade in the future.

How would I not be able to upgrade it? Would I be able to upgrade the cpu?

Yeah i say wait and save another 400-500$ This is a very low end computer and youll end up throwing money away cause you wont have very many upgrade paths.

No the motherboard you put is AM3+ which is AMD and your picking an INTEL processor..........

Yeah that will work with the motherboard you posted earlier. Like i said you cant wait and save some more cash? A build like that will have low upgrade capabilities and wont be able to do much.

What wouldn't I be able to upgrade on it?

There are many factors but let me ask you this. Why can't you wait a bit more for some more cash? You'll benefit in the long run if you save money and then purchase. Even GPU miners will outperform this low end of a build just sayin.

I am just doing this for a small project. I already have a better main computer that I use.

Does this motherboard come with a integrated graphics card or do I have to buy one?

I think your original build is better, you won't be able to upgrade much on that Dell because of its size and age.

With the parts you've picked out, you can upgrade the RAM, and possibly the CPU (although not to a very good one, you won't want to put an i3 on a $40 board). You can possibly add a low-power video card too.

Junk motherboard just like most systems from Dell= pure junk. Go with the one you picked earlier.

Don't buy that like we have stated in the pasts. You don't have any upgrade path with that. I honestly don't know why you can't save money but just keep going with the AMD sempron build......

Sorry for all the questions. Just wanna make sure im correct the AMD motherboard I picked out would need DDR3 ram and not DDR2 correct?

Yes DDR3 is what every current PC uses DDR2 is outdated.

Alright this is what I have:

ram: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004GV7OH6/ref=ox_sc_a...
case with power supply: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007YWMETC/ref=ox_sc_a...
Motherboard: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0054OWT0G/ref=ox_sc_a...
Processor: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0040BPHJO/ref=ox_sc_a...

I would appreciate if someone could just look over it quickly to make sure everything should be compatible. Thanks a lot
Do you realize the RAM is ECC Registered and it won't work in the selected motherboard? That RAM works only in servers designed for it.

You need memory like this: http://www.amazon.com/1333MHz-interchangeable-KVR1333D3...

He liked his answer even though it was incorrect as he obviously forgot to check the memory module.
