Hello. I've recently just bought a new case, psu and graphics card. (230t, corsair cx 600w and Asus gtx 770). I plugged the parts from my old pc to my new one and the light on the graphics card seems to light up so there is power but the pc itself will not turn on.... I have no idea what is wrong. Please help!!

I have an Asus p8z77 motherboard that I just upgraded the bios to #1402. I, also, have the gtx 770 GPU, and Corsair Vengence 16 gigs with a Samsung pro 512 gig SSD. My motherboard will not turn on after I installed the bios upgrade. I have a Corsair 860 watt PSU. If I turn all power to the computer (monitor, printer, speakers, etc with the surge protector and then retry, it turns on fine. I think there is a problem with the bios. I get an error code that an Asus applet is not functioning. Try turning off all power to the unit and then try to start it. It worked for me, but I still am searching for the answer so I do not have to use my surge protector on-off to boot my computer.

Clear the CMOS.Its usualy a blue cover covering 3 pins.the cover will be covering 2 pins. Now,move it so that the pin that is uncovered and leave the other one uncovered. For a brief explanation and location of those pins look into your motherboards manual.I hope this will do this for you.Good Luck!:p
