Hello, I would like to seek advice from the community about this card I have been thinking of buying. This is the card : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121866

Budget : $300-$350 USD
Pc Specs :

CPU : AMD FX 8350 4.0GHz
Motherboard : Asus AM3+ Crosshair Formula V
Hard Drive : WD 640GB
RAM : 16GB Gskill 1600 mhz
Graphics Card : MSI Twin Frozr III 6950 OC/PE
Power Supply : Corsair 750W 750TX
Case : Antec 1200 ( 3 front 120mm fans, 2 rear 120mm fans 1 top 200mm fan, 1 120 mm side fan and 1 inside the case 120 mm)
Operating System : Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Monitor : Asus VE248QE 144hz

The issue I am having is that my card is running way too hot, I have tried many things to try to fix the issue and at this point nothing works, I have tried replacing the thermal compound, underclocking the card, playing with my case open, nothing seems to work, the temperatures idle are at 48C, when playing CS:GO I get to 72C and sometimes 80C, but the issue here is the constant FPS Drops. ( playing at 1024x768 resolution, everything on low 120hz)

So finally I have decided to upgrade, but I have been out of the loop as far as computer components is concerned, I would like advice on what card to get if my current choice isn't a good one. What I do not understand is, my current card has 900 Mhz of GPU clock and 1325mhz of memory clock, and 2GB of RAM,my current choice has : 1120 core clock and I believe 1400mhz of memory clock and 4gb of ram, it does not seem like much but will this card be able to run anything like Bf4 on ultra settings at 120hz or maybe 144hz? I have the game since launch and I can not play it due to the fps drops because of the overheating GPU and the annoying fan noise.

If more details are needed I would gladly provide them, I also was looking at the Nvidia 760GTX but it seems to have lower speeds than the asus one, anyways I thank you in advance for the help and I hope I was as clear as possible. Thanks
