Hello all,

I'm building my first custom water cooling with my nzxt phantom 410. My intention is to cool my i7 3770k and my nvidia 660ti and below are the parts that i have chosen to do so.

If some water cooling user could just spend a few minutes looking at these and give me a head up if i've chosen something wrong and need something better or any kind of changes, i would be really grateful.

1. CPU block : XSPC RayStorm High Performance Acetal CPU Liquid Cooling Block

2. Pump / Reservoir Combo : XXSPC Dual 5.25" Bay Reservoir - Laing D5 / MCP655 w/ Blue LED Light - Black

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Radiator : Swiftech dual 120mm rad

4. GPU Block : EK 660 liquid cooling block nickel

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. 45 degree compression fittings : 4 x Alphacool G14 Thread 45 Rotary 38 ID x 58 OD Compression Fitting

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6. Tubing : Tygon E-3603 3/8" ID 5/8" OD transparent

7. Compression fittings : 4 x Alphacool Compression Fitting - G 1/4 Thread 3/8" ID x 5/8" OD

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8. Fans for radiators : Cooler Master SickleFlow 120x25mm Super Silent Fan - Blue LED

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9. Fluid : EK EKoolant Premium Liquid Cooling Premix Coolant - 1L - UV_Blue

Could someone please tell me if the above materials like tubing vs fittings match etc...

Thanks a bunch guys :D

Well tbh you don't need anything if you use distilled water. But if you want a coil, you can get either the kind you drop in the res, or you can get one that is a plug, you use it instead of a regular plug.

hey there mate, tnx for the reply but could u explain a few things:

1. why ditch the coolant, i saw many videos online bout watercooling and many used either this or distilled water with a few drops of anti algi fluid

2 & 3. could u recommend a good pump/res combo that comes with a pump

4. so should i get 2, 3000 rpm fans ?

could u recommend a good pump/ res combo or it is better to get both seperate.
ok i get your point about that not having a pump with itself, how about this
XSPC X2O 750 Dual 5.25" Bay Reservoir Pump - Black Acetal Updated Version 4

1. Distilled water yes. Coolant no. Distilled water like you can get in a drug store is the way to go, it's like a dollar a gallon. No need to spend 50x that on coolant, especially since distilled water actually works better than any coolant.
2. Personally I would avoid a pump\res combination, but if you want one, stick with EK, Alphacool, Swiftech, Monsoon, for the res (avoid XSPC if you can, they make great pump tops but everything else they make is junk in my opinion. I've literally never bought anything from them that worked right). None of those brands will leak on you so get something that you like the look of.
3. Any D5 that goes with the res you select will be good.
4. That would be better Yes. Remember, you can always turn them down some if you don't need the extra power.

Ok so i instead of the PT anti algi killer, i saw i can use silver kill coil, but i dunno how exactly i should use this. Should i drop it in the reservoir ? but then im worried its going to circulate with water. so how should i use that mate.

Thanks again bro
